My World

My life goal is to travel around the world. Travel and discover the real beauty of places. That is why for my birthday I want this gigantic laminated world map. So I can mark the places I have been to. The places I want to explore, and much more. I want to be able to see life from another perspective. Every kids dream is to travel around the world, and I maybe dreaming about traveling around the world but it is my choice to believe it.

Art is My Very Own Reality

Art, Art, Art. It expresses itself. I love to paint but what you don't know is that I don't paint dreams or nightmares I paint MY OWN REALITY. I enjoy what I do a lot. Right now I am in the process of finishing my canvas. It is surrealism, it is an apple and in the top a butterfly, like if it grew out of the apple and in the very bottom lies a little worm, the life before the butterfly. Maybe what I'm saying does not make sense but it is art. It maybe art to you when you see it. So here is a picture of my process!

Délicieux

Délicieux is french for delicious. If there is one thing I love more than painting my nails is cooking! Just last week it was Gaby's birthday! So I baked her some brownie cupcakes. I then added frosting and almonds on them. This is kind of how they looked, I didn't take picture but I found one that is really close! The Betty Crocker recipe is the following..
  1/3     cup Dutch-process Dutch-processed cocoa

1/2
cup boiling water
2
ounces unsweetened chocolate
4
tbsp melted butter
1/2
cup veggie oil
2
lg eggs
2
lg egg yolks
2
tsp vanilla
2 1/2
cups sugar
1 3/4
cups all purpose flour
3/4
tsp salt
6
oz bittersweet chocolate , cut into 1/2-inch pieces
  • 1Adjust oven rack to lowest position and heat oven to 350 degrees. Referring to directions in Making a Foil Sling (related), make sling using the following steps: Cut 18-inch length foil and fold lengthwise to 8-inch width. Fit foil into length of 13 by 9-inch baking pan, pushing it into corners and up sides of pan; allow excess to overhang pan edges. Cut 14-inch length foil and fit into width of pan in the same manner, perpendicular to the first sheet (if using extra-wide foil, fold second sheet lengthwise to 12-inch width). Spray with nonstick cooking spray.
  • 2Whisk cocoa, espresso powder (if using), and boiling water together in large bowl until smooth. Add unsweetened chocolate and whisk until chocolate is melted. Whisk in melted butter and oil. (Mixture may look curdled.) Add eggs, yolks, and vanilla and continue to whisk until smooth and homogeneous. Whisk in sugar until fully incorporated. Add flour and salt and mix with rubber spatula until combined. Fold in bittersweet chocolate pieces.
  • 3Scrape batter into prepared pan and bake until toothpick inserted halfway between edge and center comes out with just a few moist crumbs attached, 30 to 35 minutes. Transfer pan to wire rack and cool 1½ hours.
  • 4Using foil overhang, lift brownies from pan. Return brownies to wire rack and let cool completely, about 1 hour. Cut into 2-inch squares and serve.

From This To That

I LOVE painting my nails, and there are a lot of ways to do that, marbling, ombre look, and many more. One that I enjoy a lot is one where you use newspaper and then you end up with letters in your nails. I love how they look specially because you can use words in specific or word you relate to, like maybe peace, happiness. When ever you want you can look at your nails and see. Here is a video that someone made where they do the newspaper thing!! It is amazing this nail creation looks best with pale colors not so dark so the letters pop out.

Apple i's

True Story
Apples and bananas... I bet you just sang that. Anyway, Apple is a store that everything has an i for example iPhone, iPod, iPad, iLife, etc. But why?! You tell me. The only thing I know is that every time I go into an Apple store I feel like I am in heaven. All of this electronics surround me and what is really cool is that they let you use them! Just a month a go I went to Apple Store to fix my laptop, and to buy a case for my new iPhone when a man that worked at the store told me do you want to do iCheck-out and I was like yes!! :O So The man used an iPod to scan the barcode of the case and then swiped the credit card in the iPod's case and then the receipt came out by a desk. I love all of Apple's things with an i. This is how my dad sees Steve Jobs creations...

They are beyond comfortable!! Here is a picture of some of my Steve Madden shoes!

Life in London

The moment you get to London you will see peace in every corner. In London there are lots of things you can do, you can go to the Eye of London and see all of the city, or go to Queen Elizabeths home. If you go to visit the Crown Jewels and you will be very surprised with the size of diamonds they have. The crowns will leave you in awe. There are Rubies and Emeralds the size of your palm. The security is very protective you can't take pictures of them. The soldiers will impress you. There is a wine thing made out of gold, it is so big that you could bathe in it. Here is a picture of a souvenir I got from my visit.. hahaha :)
